Nogva Heimdal Propulsion is building a new industrial building in Molde

Nogva Heimdal Propulsion was notified in November last year that they had to move out of existing premises in Molde by the end of 2020. The company is now building a new industrial building in Årødalen, which is expected to be completed in October/November 2020.

New industrial building in Molde
CEO Svein Tore Tande and his employees had a strong wish to keep the company based in Molde, and are therefore very pleased for the decision to build a new industrial building here. We are also grateful towards Molde Kommune, which by Nils Bjørn Venås and mayor Torgeir Dahl provided the company with a plot at short notice. This made the project possible. The site in Årødalen is already under construction and the building is expected to be completed in October/November 2020. SH-Total AS (Sunndalsøra) is the selected contractor.

Had several options
The Nogva Group has activities in several locations, and a relocation of the company to Sunnmøre was one of the alternatives considered. Nogva Heimdal Propulsion has had a very good development in recent years, and the Nogva Group therefore has great faith that the positive development of the company will continue, which also was the basis for the decision to build a new industrial building in Årødalen.

Strengthens the Nogva Group
The new industrial building in Molde is a good investment, which makes it possible for us to deliver solutions in a higher power area than before, and the Group’s potential in this segment is great. In 2017, Nogva Motorfabrikk AS entered an agreement to acquire 51% in Heimdal Propulsion with an option to purchase more. Today, the Nogva Group owns 91% of the shares in the company.
